2025 EVENT - Hemp Crop at Farm World
iHemp Victoria - Empowers Innovation With Industrial Hemp
Ihemp Victoria is excited about their events and innovations for 2025. The interest in Industrial hemp has grown enormously since lockdown as people are looking at ways to reset towards a different way they can live their lives in a sustainable way. Many others are looking at new careers and innovation start ups incorporating industrial hemp.
ihemp Victoria is proud to announce it is starting the year with an innovative concept of a late Summer industrial hemp crop.
The general public will be able to view this crop at Lardner Park ( near Warragul ) at Farm World
Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 March 2025.
Hemp crops are not normally open to the general public so this is a very rare and exciting field day you do not want to miss. Lardner Park and ihemp Victoria have partnered together to create this one off hemp exhibition.
Farm World is a haven for the farming community and urbanites with a passion for the great outdoors with a 100 acres of indoor and outdoor exhibitor displays.
ihemp Victoria will have a display stand at Farm World so we are looking forward to seeing you there and you having this opportunity to view the industrial hemp crop planted on site.

ihemp Victoria was represented at the Buninyong's Smart Living Expo on SUNDAY 26th February. The Association educated the local community about farming & building with hemp. The community was well aware of hemp & supportive of our innovation projects.
ihemp Victoria registered as a charity
ihemp Victoria is pleased to announce we are now registered as a Charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission. We are the first Hemp Association in Australia to achieve this status. Thank you to Andrew Little our Secretary for his efforts in getting the association registered.

Harvest Moon Happening
Victoria has had a successful season with many trial fibre crops in the ground being harvested right now. ihemp Victoria will continue to give advice & support on growing, building & innovation etc.

Off Grid Festival
ihemp Victoria participated in the 2 day Off Grid Living Festival in Victoria & promoted Industrial hemp for farming, building, food & innovation etc. Darren Christie the President spoke to many enthusiastic industrial hemp devotees and gave a large workshop talk to an excited crowd.

Uni Students workshop Hemp
The University Of Melbourne Engineering Depart lead by David Wilson once again held a workshop at the industrial hemp processing plant in Nerrim Sth sponsored by Darren Christie the CEO of the Australian Hemp Manufacturing Company. The enthusiastic group built a hemp wall as part of their Masters research project.

The Global Hemp Summit was hosted by The University of Melbourne and the Australian Hemp Manufacturing Company. The Summit was inspiring the next generation of global innovators using Industrial Hemp in the building ,construction and consumer products industries.
